About Brisa:

The foundations of Brisa were laid with Lassa, which was established back in 1974 with the initiative of Sabancı Holding and its partners. It was named Brisa as a result of the partnership which ensued between the Sabancı Group and Bridgestone Corporation, the world's largest tire manufacturer, in 1988. Brisa acquired the accolade of being the first Turkish company to win the European Quality Grand Prize as a result of its superior performance in business excellence in 1996. The company, which pioneers innovations with its more than 3000 employees in its production facilities equipped with smart technologies in Izmit and Aksaray, produces 13.5 million tires annually. It introduces high-performance and quality products to the world to meet the needs of the future with its projects developed by Turkish engineers in the certified R&D Centre established in the Izmit Factory with Bridgestone's technology. Aksaray Factory, which is the first factory of the Turkish tire industry equipped with smart technologies, established with an investment of 300 million dollars in 2018, benefits from new generation technologies such as robotic works, big data and augmented reality. Brisa is the first example of Industry 4.0 in our country with artificial intelligence, software-based networks, robotic technologies and smart production all in its portfolio . With the growth potential of the sector in Türkiye and its export focus, Brisa continues its investments in tire production in both factories accordingly.
Brisa has the most widespread dealer network in the automotive industry in Türkiye, with more than 1200 sales points. The company exhibits a strong performance in international markets with its Lassa brand and adds value to the Turkish economy while strengthening its global operations with exports to more than 6000 sales points in nearly 90 countries.
Brisa produces special tires for automobiles, light commercial vehicles, buses, trucks, agricultural and construction machinery under the brands Bridgestone, Lassa and Dayton respectively. It supplies Kinesis branded forklift tires and Firestone branded agricultural tires to the market, which both meet international standards in terms of safety and quality criteria for industrial machines. In addition to these, it adds value to its customers and business partners while leading the industry with its Bandag coating brand, Veloxia domestic coating brand, sales points with Lastiğim signs, Otopratik and Propratik quick maintenance service points positioned as Mobility Centres, Lastik.com.tr alternative sales channel, Profleet fleet services, mobile maintenance service that provide on-site maintenance to Mobilfix commercial vehicle fleets, tire storage service Lastik Otel (Tire Hotel), Filofix roadside assistance service for commercial vehicles and Brisa Academy training platform.
With this deep-rooted history and production power behind it, Brisa is going through a mobility transformation that aims much beyond tires. As the mobility leader of the tire industry, the focus of the 2030 road map is on developing the "Mobility Solutions" business. Brisa offers innovative and pioneering mobility solutions with the aim of providing a travel experience beyond tires to both its individual, corporate and commercial customers. In this context, it implements end-to-end digital, on-site and smart services with the mobility team positioned within the company and the service-oriented approach of all its employees.
The company took one of its biggest leaps forward within the scope of mobility transformation in 2022 by purchasing Arvento, the leading company in vehicle tracking systems in terms of product, market share and technology. Forging ahead, it integrates its strong tire products and service network with the Arvento fleet management platform, provides convenience, efficiency and productivity to its customers with fleet management services based on integrated mobile systems and data analytics.

Moreover, Brisa started to produce tires suitable for electric vehicles, a prominent issue in the automotive industry. The company is expanding its product portfolio for electric vehicles and designing products that contribute to sustainability. While Otopratik and Propratik are expanding rapid care service chains throughout Türkiye, they are also transforming these areas into Mobility Centres. Within this context, maintenance and charging services for electric vehicles are offered at Otopratik service points.

Brisa undertakes all these activities on the basis of sustainability. It carries out communication activities in order to disseminate the sustainability management approach -which it considers as an integral part of the corporate culture- among its stakeholders, performs audit activities to determine the development areas within the context of sustainability, and ensures sustainability performance with action plans based on concrete targets. The company focuses its sustainability strategy on the main realms of "transition to a low-carbon economy", "transition to a low-contact economy" and "cultural and social transformation" while matching its actions with the Sustainable Development Goals for which the United Nations seeks solutions.

Brisa, which has achieved pioneering practices and firsts in the field of sustainability in Türkiye, proudly holds the title of being the first company whose long-term emission reduction targets prepared according to the 1.5 degree scenario were approved by the Science Based Targets Initiative. In addition, while it is in the Gold category in the Ecovadis evaluation, it takes its place in the Turkish Leaders in the Supplier Rating and Water Safety categories within the scope of the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) and among the Global Leaders in the Climate Change category.
